This past year of my career has been filled with so many undeserved blessings! From the weddings I have been invited to capture to the people I have been privileged to meet, my cup (and heart) is overflowing by all of God’s goodness!
Every season, Pink Bride Magazine hosts a luncheon and invites local caterers, photographers, make-up artists, etc. to come “schmooze”. While at this super fun event of “schmoozing”, they did several drawings for door prizes. One of those door prizes happened to be a quarter page ad in the magazine… Can I get a “Woot Woot!” for the lucky lady that won that SWEET prize?!
Words cannot describe how excited I was when they called out MY name! Holy Smokes… WHAAAT?!
Well, lemme just tell ya folks… That’s not even the best part!!
Not only was I blessed with a little free advertisement, afterwards they reviewed my work, LOVED it, AND offered me a 6 page spread in the magazine!! Again, Holy Smokes… WHAAAT?! Is God good or what!
Remember Keri and James Downtown Memphis Wedding I did back in June? Well, one of Keri’s beautiful bridals was selected to be the face of the advertisement! It turned out great!
As for the spread in the magazine, I was invited to Opera Memphis to photograph some of the most beautifully crafted food I’ve ever seen! Seriously, too pretty to eat! The write up was titled “Eat, Drink & Be Marry” (cute, right!?) and showcased the talent of local Memphis caterers. It was a blast getting to experience and capture a different side of events! I have posted the links for these fabulous companies at the bottom of this post. I hope you guys will check them out. Trust me, you won’t be disappointed!
I’m overwhelmed when I reflect back to all the opportunities and doors The Lord has opened over the last year. I am forever grateful! And a huge thank you to my past clients and future clients for all of the memories that are and will be woven into all of these wonderful experiences!
